Having professional photographs taken of your Point Cook property is an important part of the successful marketing and sales appeal of your property. By following these simple steps, your home can be photographed at its best, bringing in more prospective buyers.

It is essential to remove all unnecessary objects and personal belongings from spaces that will be photographed. It is also very important to make sure all your lights are working.

Outside:
Remove rubbish bins, building debris, cars, boats, caravans etc from the driveway and the front and sides of the house. Make sure children’s toys and pool cleaning devices are out of view (i.e. remove creepy crawly from pool)

Kitchen:
Clear benches, dishes and cutlery. Remove rubbish bins, cleaning products and tea towels. Remove all magnets, photos and paperwork from fridge

Lounge:
Remove all remote controls, children’s toys, magazines and personal photographs (where possible)

Bedrooms:
Make the main bed, remove items from bedside tables including clock radios and turn lamps on

Bathrooms:
Make sure the following items are not visible: toiletries in shower, towels, soap, bath mats, children’s toys in bath etc.

 

A standard 5 photograph package normally includes the following:
External: One of front of house, back yard/swimming pool/undercover entertainment areas
Internal: One of kitchen/dining/lounge, main bedrooms, bathroom

In addition to the above recommendations, we also suggest that you either lock away or take with you any valuables such as jewellery and personal items when your property is open for inspection.
